I cannot imagine a tackle box from the 40s to 50s without containing these items. Along with the ubiquitous bottle opener, they are treasures of their day. The ferule adhesive on the left would be needed to keep replacing the unreliable adhesives of the day, the insect repellant an absolute must for undesirable hatches, the rodspar varnish to touch up can rod finish or the windings. The Phlueger split shot? A necessity for sunny days.
